The Police position is responsible for the operation, direction, and control of the law enforcement and physical security activities of a Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), Health Care System (HCS), or Police Service (PS). This is an Open Continuous announcement until April 3, 2026. Qualified applicants will be considered and referred as vacancies become available. Duties The Police Officer will perform a full range of police duties by following and executing rules, regulations, or procedures covering law and rules enforcement, physical and personal security operations, patrol duties, control desk duty, coordination with local courts, and/or crime prevention activities for the local jurisdiction. Major responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Requirements You must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this job Subject to a background/suitability investigation Designated and/or random drug testing may be required May serve a probationary period Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959 A complete application package; Resume, Transcripts, etc Selected applicants will be required to complete an online onboarding process.
