Certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
Must-Have: Pre/Post-Op Experience

Job Description:
- Possess basic knowledge of operative procedures to assess and implement care for ambulatory surgery patients.
- Regularly assess patient needs and provide skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician's authorized plan of care, adhering to accepted nursing practice standards.
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, call light responses, assisting with transfers, and responding to alarms.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and collaborate with team members to update or revise plans using current information to improve patient care.
- Process physician/provider orders and perform physician-ordered care accurately, completely, and promptly.
- Follow up on medication changes and order clarifications.

Additional Notes:
- Weekend On-Call: Every 4 weeks, with shifts on either Saturday & Sunday days (7:00 AM - 11:00 PM) or Friday & Saturday nights (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Preferred if candidates have PACU training.
- Facility may consider local candidates for one 13-week contract, after which they may transition to a permanent position.
- Profiles should include work history, a skills checklist pertinent to the specialty (current within 1 year), 2 supervisory reference forms from the last two years, and the candidate's permanent address.
