* A Ph.D. in Chemistry with a specialization in organic chemistry from an accredited university at the time of appointment.* Experience teaching introductory/general chemistry, organic chemistry, or other foundational chemistry courses.* Evidence of developing and implementing innovative pedagogical approaches to teaching in the STEM fields.* Excellent skills in interaction and communication with students, faculty, and staff.* Prior experience mentoring or advising students, particularly in STEM fields.* Familiarity with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard, D2L) and other instructional technologies.* Experience in both lecture and laboratory course and curriculum development.* Demonstrated commitment to departmental service and student engagement.* Ability to complete tasks and work cooperatively with others.* Strong self-discipline and ability to work independently.* Ability to communicate and interact effectively with faculty, staff, and students.* Required and preferred qualifications* Experience teaching chemistryPlease ensure that all required documents are uploaded prior to submitting an application.
