Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven professional to join our client's non-profit organization as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in the Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) industry, with a focus on driving census, particularly within Independent Living.

Key Responsibilities:

Census Growth Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to increase census within Independent Living, leveraging your expertise in the CCRC sector.

Leadership and Empowerment: Be a self-starter and empower your team to achieve and exceed sales and marketing objectives. Drive a culture of high performance, accountability, and collaboration.

Overall Sales and Marketing Oversight: Take charge of all sales and marketing efforts for our non-profit organization. Develop and implement innovative campaigns to elevate our visibility and attract new residents.

Visibility and Communication: Assume a highly visible position within the organization, fostering effective communication with C-suite executives. Provide regular updates on sales and marketing performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Remote Collaboration: Work remotely while maintaining a strong connection with the team. Demonstrate effective leadership from a distance, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.

Competing Priorities: Successfully manage competing priorities, demonstrating agility and strategic thinking to ensure the alignment of sales and marketing efforts with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

  • CCRC Expertise: Proven track record of success in sales and marketing within the Continuing Care Retirement Community industry, with a focus on Independent Living.
  • Self-Starter: Must be a proactive self-starter with the ability to independently drive initiatives and motivate the team to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Remote Work: Experience working in a remote capacity, coupled with the ability to maintain a strong connection with the team.
  • Location Requirement: Must be within a commutable distance to Essex County, NJ, as frequent travel to the area is essential.
  • Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate with C-suite executives, inspiring confidence and trust.
