The Certified Nursing Assistant answers to the Charge Nurse and the Director of Staff Development. Job Duties Ensure thorough communication and adherence to Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A.) guidelines. Responsibilities include: Reporting to the assigned station and charge nurse daily Performing tasks within C.N.A. scope Providing resident care efficiently and safely Following facility rules and regulations Communicating changes in resident condition promptly Collaborating with team members Maintaining positive interactions with residents and staff Continuing education for C.N.A. certification Reporting to work as scheduled and giving proper notice for absences Maintaining resident rooms at the end of the shift Following dress code and attending meetings Keeping CPR certification current Following instructions for the walk-to-dine program Introducing self to residents and explaining procedures Monitoring vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, charting, and assisting with meals Following resident-specific care plans Completing any other assigned duties from supervisors.
