This role includes compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as HCSG policies. Lead and inspire the culinary team to uphold quality and safety standards. Maintain precise records regarding income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software. Conduct training sessions, quality control checks, and perform various kitchen roles as needed. Communicate effectively with client managers and staff to relay directives clearly. Utilize personal protective equipment and ensure safe cleaning practices for all staff. Adhere to infection control measures and uphold sanitation standards consistently. Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality while completing tasks on time. Foster positive relationships through courteous interactions with supervisors, co-workers, residents, and visitors. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Associate's degree or higher in food service management or hospitality; coursework in food service or restaurant management preferred. Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and personnel management is preferred. Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification is preferred (or as mandated by state and county regulations). Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) certification within the first 14 days of employment. Must achieve Food Service Manager (FSM) and Long-Term Care Food Service (LTC-FSM) certifications within 60 days of employment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to maintain a positive outlook and communicate effectively with staff at all levels. Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required. Ability to lift and carry up to a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods. Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously. Comfortable working around food and cleaning products. Basic computer skills for record maintenance and report completion. Residency within the service area is required. Ready to Join Us?
