National Lift of Arkansas is seeking a dependable and organized Class A truck driver who possesses a great deal of physical and mental stamina who is experienced in hauling lift trucks, scissor lifts and other material handling equipment for our Little Rock, AR location.

**Duties and Qualifications**

* Make safety a priority at all times.

* Driver must have a current CDL Class A and DOT medical certification card.

* Experience in hauling lift trucks, scissor lifts and other material handling equipment.

* Must have a clean driving record and pass our background screenings.

* Mechanical ability would be a plus for this position.

* Ensure contents are properly secured inside of the truck to prevent breakage or damage

* Safely and efficiently handle and unload goods at selected destinations.

* Obtain signatures or warehouse scans to confirm and complete deliveries with clients.

* Stay on a predetermined route with ability to adapt to quick changes in the routes.

* Ensure timely deliveries.

* Communicate with all employees and/or customers.

* Work overtime without much notice.

* Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip.

* Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered.

* Adhere to company rules and regulations.

* Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions.

* Comply with ICC and DOT regulations.

**Class A Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications**

* High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

* Valid Class A drivers license required

* 2+ years proven experience with tractor-trailer driving preferred.

* Clean driving record.

* Must pass a background check and drug test.

* Comfortable maneuvering and parking a tractor-trailer.

* Alert, focused, and detail-oriented

* Physically and mentally fit.

* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time

* Able to operate an electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.

* Proficient using GPS and other routing systems

* An innate sense of direction

* Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful

* High level of composure and good stress management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 $25.00 per hour
