Travel Stepdown RN - Rochester, NY

Location: Various healthcare facilities in Rochester, NY

Pay:

  • Total weekly pay: $2,612.00

Job Title: Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN)

Shifts:

  • Day/Night Rotation
  • Rotating shifts may include 12-hour shifts or other configurations
  • Expected to work every other weekend

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to patients in a medical stepdown/pulmonary unit.
  • Monitor patients with invasive monitoring, including new/rescue/continuous non-invasive positive pressure ventilation (NIPPV), new tracheostomies, ventilators with endotracheal tubes (ETT), and transvenous pacing.
  • Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and assess patient conditions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Float to other units within the facility as needed.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of New York.
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar setting.
  • Ability to work a rotating schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Willingness to float to other units as needed.
