Trinity Homes is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Gerontologist to join our esteemed Nursing Home and skilled nursing facility team in North Dakota. An employee of Trinity Health, the new candidate is supported by an extensive network of providers within the Trinity Health organization.Key Responsibilities:Serves as Medical Director for Trinity Homes, an 161 skilled bed nursing home facility in Minot, North Dakota.Serves as primary care provider for Trinity Homes patients to conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluate the health needs of our patientsWorks collaboratively with Nurse Practitioner colleague to develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.Provide guidance and education to patients and their families regarding aging-related health issuesWorks collaboratively with Trinity Hospital to facilitate smooth hospital discharges into the Trinity Homes facilityManages skilled nursing bed patients within the facility.Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in geriatric medicine to ensure quality care.Participate in community outreach and educational programs to promote healthy aging.Contribute to the development and enhancement of geriatric services at Trinity Health.Qualifications:Medical degree from an accredited institution.Board certification in Geriatrics or related field.Valid medical license to practice in North Dakota.Proven experience in geriatric patient care.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to work with the elderly population.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Benefits:Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and continuing medical education.Supportive work environment with access to the latest technology and state-of-the-art facilities.Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.If you are a dedicated Geriatrician looking to make a significant impact on the lives of patients, we invite you to apply Please submit your CV to Cambree Smith, Physician Recruiter.
