Our quality construction services have benefited universities, local municipalities, the Department of Transportation, and clients in the commercial and industrial industries.Position and responsibilitiesWe are looking for a Foreman for our Civil Division to join our team. Projects will include road work, rehab, storm drains and milling and repaving. The Civil Foreman is a working supervisor of an assigned crew who oversees all aspects of the projects to which he/she is assigned along with the Superintendent. The successful Foreman will plan daily activities and delivery of materials while maintaining workflow, ensuring safe execution of field work, and delivering quality work with a CAN DO attitude.As a Construction Foreman, you will:Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials to promote safe, efficient and timely construction of the project.Ensure that construction equipment is correctly operated and maintained.Maintain accurate reporting records including job quantities, productivity rates, time sheets and daily management reports.Work alongside the crew to ensure timely completion of work assignments.Develop and maintain a positive crew attitude by leading by example.Monitor compliance with all company policies by employees under supervision.Experience and requirements5 years (Required) in the civil construction industry1 year (Required) in a leadership role in the construction industryAble and willing to travelValid Driver’s LicenseMust be a good communicator, motivator and team playerOSHA 10 CertificateDemonstrate Gregory Construction’s Core Values of Safety, Integrity, Excellence, Determination and Communication at every levelWork location and benefitsThis full-time position includes paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance and a company-matched 401(k) as well as other perks.
