The Role We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil/Structural Engineer Department Manager to lead and oversee challenging EPC projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, a proactive approach, and a passion for delivering exceptional results. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, analysis, and review of civil and structural engineering projects Participate in the development of engineering SOW and deliverables each project demands. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions that meet client specifications and safety standards Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers Ensure all projects comply with applicable codes, standards, and best practices Support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling efforts Conduct site inspections and oversee construction activities as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering (Master’s preferred) Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in civil/structural engineering within Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industries. Professional Engineer in the State of Texas. (desired) Active TWIC Card Proven track record managing complex EPC projects from design through construction Strong knowledge of industry codes, standards, and engineering software Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Candidates Note: A small relocation package is available for candidates willing to relocate to the Beaumont TX area.
