Construction Litigation Attorney

Job Overview We’re an AM Law 200 law firm located in San Diego that helps businesses thrive. We have an immediate need for a Construction Litigation Attorney with at least three years of quality experience in construction contract litigation to join our team. Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests/responses, and settlement agreements. Conduct legal research and provide opinions on construction law matters. Ensure legal compliance in construction projects and contracts. Manage and oversee complex commercial litigation cases from inception through trial or other resolution. Advise clients on risk management and dispute resolution strategies. Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trials as necessary. Qualifications Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school. Active member in good standing with the bar in the state of practice. Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction litigation. Proven experience in civil litigation, construction law, and commercial litigation. Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and problem‑solving skills. Strong legal research and writing skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and cases while meeting deadlines. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
