JOB SUMMARY An Assembler II is responsible for producing complete assemblies per API's, i.e. EFD dispensers, valves, tank reservoirs and their related sellable components. To be successful in this role, one must understand and utilize written instructions (API's) and/or verbal instructions to maintain the highest quality level while performing all assembly, testing, and packaging operations. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures that labor efficiencies fall within established time standards. Self picks parts and necessary equipment, tooling, and materials (lubricants, sealants, bags, etc). Uses all equipment, tooling, and material for their intended use. Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe work area at all times. Wears the appropriate safety gear at all times such as safety glasses. Performs basic troubleshooting skills with minimal supervision. Conducts basic training to other employees as needed. Performs a variety of test functions utilizing test equipment, meters, and other mechanical and pneumatic devices. Partners with Engineering on new product development. All other duties as assigned. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT High school diploma or GED. 6 months to a year of related experience and/or training. Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language. Able to read, understand, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures and carry out oral instructions. Must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with fellow employees. Able to perform basic math, add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to problem solve involving a few concrete variables and standardized solutions. PREFERRED SKILLS & ABILITIES Able to use pneumatic and hand tools. Basic computer knowledge. SAP experience. WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS Manufacturing environment. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
