*Appalachian Mountain Health ("AMH")*, a Federally Qualified Health Center network based in Asheville, NC, is hiring an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with a minimum of three years' experience, to join our exceptional clinical team. This position will work in our Robbinsville location and will deliver quality-focused primary care services for patients.

AMH provides comprehensive, accessible, patient-centered primary care to all, including low-income, medically underserved and uninsured populations, at six locations throughout Western North Carolina.

Our NP/PAs work closely with physicians, other advanced practitioners, behavioral health clinicians, and clinical and administrative support staff in a team-based approach to patient care.

Required qualifications include:
* Physician Assistant /Nurse Practitioner degree from an accredited institution
* Current North Carolina PA-C or NP license
* CAQ
* CPR/BLS certification
* At least one year of experience in a primary care setting functioning at the full extent of training and licensure
* Strong commitment to practicing in a community health setting
* Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as critical thinking skills, the ability to handle stressful situations and the capacity to function independently
* High degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve AMH's mission
