About the Role We’re looking for a Store Manager to help lead our team and bring The Pear House vision to life. This role is for someone who is equally professional and approachable, who loves guiding a small team, and who’s passionate about sustainability. You’ll oversee daily operations, support our associates, and help us build a space that feels vibrant, curated, and intentional. What You’ll Be Doing Lead, train, and schedule our sales associates. Oversee day‑to‑day store operations, including opening/closing, merchandising, inventory counts and stock organization as needed. Maintain visual merchandising and ensure the store reflects The Pear House. Showcase strong product knowledge and expertise. Be the storytelling voice for our brands, helping customers connect with sustainable fashion and intentional living. Track sales goals and report progress. Handle customer concerns with professionalism and warmth. Collaborate with us on in‑store events and (eventually) workshops. Foster a positive, inclusive culture for both staff and community. Assist with physical aspects of store operations, including receiving, stocking, and moving boxes or inventory (up to 30‑40 lbs). What We’re Looking For 2+ years retail management/supervisory experience preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable leading a team and creating a motivating work environment. Strong people skills – you can connect with both customers and staff with ease. Adaptability, as we’re a startup and things evolve and grow quickly Passionate about sustainability and curious about the stories behind slow fashion. Ability to stand and move around the store throughout scheduled shifts. Full‑time schedule of 8‑hour shifts, 5 days per week, with regular weekend shifts and flexibility for occasional events, projects, or store needs. Salary: $65,000 with potential for performance‑based bonuses. We offer comprehensive medical insurance to support your health and wellbeing. 21 days of paid time off annually.
