Core Values Innovation, ?Respect, ?Integrity, ?Learning, ?Teamwork, Commitment Position Summary The Senior Director of Retail Operations provides strategic and operational leadership for all donated goods retail and outlet locations. This role is responsible for driving financial performance, enhancing donor and customer experience, and ensuring consistent execution of brand standards. A key focus of this position is building a strong leadership pipeline through intentional team development, coaching, and succession planning. The Senior Director will lead store remodels and refreshes, foster a culture of operational excellence, and collaborate across departments to deliver mission-aligned results. Essential Duties (Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.) Direct operations for all retail and outlet locations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and mission. Lead team development efforts, including coaching, succession planning, and performance management. Champion a culture of accountability that aligns to core values within GCCVA. Ensure exceptional donor and customer experiences across all locations. Implement strategies to improve donation flow, conversion, and community engagement. Maintain consistent brand standards across all stores. Oversee store remodels, and layout optimization. Monitor and manage KPIs including NOI, labor efficiency, donation volume, and sales conversion. Ensure locations meet or exceed break-even and target NOI thresholds. Support execution of bonus plans tied to location-level performance. Partner with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless operations. Supervisory Responsibilities The associate in this position has supervisory responsibility for designated associates in their department. Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance High School Diploma or GED required. Associate or bachelor's degree in business preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience in a related field required. No professional certifications are required for this position. Valid state driver's license, insurance and satisfactory driving record are required. Associates in the position will be required to successfully pass both a criminal and sex offender background check. Based on the work location a state background check may also be required. Ability to operate PC, proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Proven Experience in multi-unit retail operations, supply chain, or logistics leadership.
