Job Summary and Qualifications

Position Summary:

Performs cleaning functions in various areas of the hospital. Maintains these areas in a clean and orderly fashion in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures and foremost to provide an environment conducive to patient recovery.

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:

1. Requires operation of mechanical equipment such as vacuums.
2. Visual acuity to detail cleanliness.
3. Reasoning ability as employees must use self-judgment in changing sequence of areas cleaned to meet needs of unit or area.
4. Promotes internal and external customer satisfaction.
5. Builds and promotes a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.
6. Attendance: works as scheduled and is compliant with Attendance and Tardiness Policy

Located in Derry, NH, Parkland Medical Center is a regional acute-care hospital offering 86 beds and a Level III Trauma Center. HCA Healthcare owns the facility, along with three other hospitals, two freestanding emergency rooms, an ambulatory surgery center, and an urgent care center in New Hampshire.
