About the Job AB Staffing is looking for experienced Occupational Therapists (OT) for the upcoming 25/26 school year. Occupational Therapist (OT) Requirements: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, preferred. Must possess or be eligible for an Occupational Therapist License in the State of Illinois (OTR/L). Ability to uphold board policies and follow administrative procedures. Must have experience in identifying students with exceptional needs. Successful therapy experience in educational setting preferred. BLS/CPR Cert. Job Description: Contract through the school year - 37.5 to 40 hours per week. Contract follows the academic district calendar. Occupational Therapist (OT) Duties: Evaluate patients by observing their movements, performing standardized tests, and listening to their concerns to establish an individualized plan of care. Competent care rendered to patients. Use exercises, stretching, equipment, modalities, and hands-on therapy to manage patients' pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and motivate them to reach their goals. Provide continuity of care by communicating pertinent patient information with the rehab team, physicians, and other disciplines as needed. Document all patient care in accordance with department policies. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols. Salary: $1,870-2,160 per week.
