Prior aviation or airport related experience is strongly preferred. Position Description Support the Superintendents and Foremen on the various projects; oversee all trade labor hire, transfer and layoff. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Coordinate with the Operations Manager for all assignment of Superintendent and Foreman positions. Assign and coordinate all trade field assignments with the needs of various projects. Support Superintendent throughout the duration of the job. Review project schedules with Superintendents/Foreman and ensure that critical activities and decisions stay on task; provide Required On Job (ROJ) dates to the project management team. Document project field issues that impact budget, quality or schedule; provide reports to the project management team. Respond to subcontractor requests for field issues that impact budget, quality or schedule. Provide oversight for the Superintendent/Foreman in developing and maintaining a Resource Allocation Control System (RACS). Guide implementation of the Project Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program. Identify self‑perform opportunities and assist in developing the self‑perform proposal. Manage self‑perform performance. Work with the Business Unit Safety Director to implement the BU Safety Program. Manage Review of Capabilities, Accomplishments and Progress (ReCAP) for field tradespeople. Maintain a progression/succession plan for high‑potential tradesmen with the Operations Manager. Manage training for tradesmen. Support Business Development, Estimating and Project Executives (PX's) with operational plans for all pursuits. Assist the Project Executive, Project Superintendent and Project Manager to develop logistics plans and schedules during pre‑construction and early project activities. May perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of ten (10) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. Proven written and verbal communications abilities. Proficiency with computer applications: Microsoft Office suite, SAP, SharePoint, etc. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to travel 50% + of the time. Physical Demands Performing this job may require climbing permanent and temporary stairs, using construction personnel hoists, climbing ladders and negotiating work areas under construction. Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Frequent use of hands for tools, handling objects, sitting, talking, hearing, standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. May occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs. Work Environment Regular on‑site construction work site exposure to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather and risk of electric shock. Noise level is typically moderate to very loud.
