Responsibilities Assess and evaluate systems that support the delivery of quality resident care. Resolve resident care issues and family concerns in a professional, timely manner. Implement and evaluate nursing procedures aligned with unit programs. Make clinical nursing diagnoses and guide care plans accordingly. Perform nursing assessments to monitor resident health status. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments. Educate residents and families on health conditions and care plans. Participate in quality assurance activities and ensure compliance. Maintain accurate documentation per company policy and regulations. Step in for general nursing duties in emergencies or during staffing shortages. Use electronic medical records and demonstrate basic computer proficiency. Qualifications Licensed LVN or RN in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing. Strong clinical skills and passion for resident‑centered care. Experience in long‑term care (preferred but not required). Professional communication and collaboration with others. Stays organized, calm, and focused under pressure.
