Tidewater Physicians Multispecialty Group (TPMG) includes more than 220 primary care, specialty physicians and advanced practice clinicians in more than 75 locations throughout southeastern Virginia. The schedule is part time hours.Position SummaryThe X-Ray Technologist is responsible for using the x-ray equipment to produce diagnosing images.Major Duties And ResponsibilitiesResponsible for explaining the procedure performed to the patient.Prepares the patient for x-rays by making sure they are properly positioned for optimal results.Takes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.Uses a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials.Ensures equipment is in working order.
