Principal Analog IC Design Engineer Salary: Competitive basic salary + bonus & equity A global semiconductor firm is looking for Senior & Principal Analog IC Design Engineers to join their R&D team designing leading sensor technologies used in a variety of industries and applications. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end analog and mixed‑signal circuit design, from concept to production. Design and optimize key analog blocks (ADCs, DACs, oscillators, biasing circuits, etc.). Perform simulations, verification, layout supervision, and system optimization. Conduct lab evaluations, silicon characterization, and debug activities. Mentor junior engineers and oversee sub‑teams within development projects. Collaborate with digital, firmware, layout, and test teams to deliver integrated solutions. Contribute to technology roadmap and design methodology improvements. Key Skills / Experience Required: ADCs, DACs & Sensor integration Strong understanding of performance trade‑offs (speed, power, noise, linearity, etc.) Design and simulation tools Hands‑on lab experience with test equipment and silicon evaluation Proven ability to lead technically, solve complex design challenges, and mentor others Beneficial: Experience with low‑power, high‑resolution ADC architectures Familiarity with CADENCE and associated tools Background in sensors Knowledge of behavioural modelling and system‑level design Bonus 401k & Various insurances Seniority Level Not Applicable Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Engineering and Design Industries Semiconductor Manufacturing and Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing Location: San Diego, CASalary Range: $140,000.00 – $190,000.00 If you’re interested and think you have the skills required as a Principal Analog IC Design Engineer, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
