Job Description:
As a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) at our office, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our patients. You will work closely with the dentist to assist in various dental procedures and ensure the smooth flow of patients through the office. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding customer service to all patients, maintaining a positive chair-side manner.
Assist the dentist with dental procedures, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Take radiographs of patients using standard dental radiographic equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the office and treatment rooms.
Review patient charts before the doctor's arrival, document patient data during exams and treatments, and transcribe doctor notes accurately.
Ensure patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Verify patient health history and document relevant information in patient charts.
Assist with other office duties as needed or requested.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Registered Dental Assistant is required.
Proficiency in Dentrix software is highly preferred.
Possession of a valid Dental Assistant license as required by the state.
Demonstrated positive attitude and demeanor.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
