Position Highlights:
- Outpatient clinic within premier cancer research and treatment institute
- Part-time weekday work schedule, 1 in 16 weekends- Virtual CL call coverage
- Joining thriving psycho-oncology section comprised of 20+ LCSWs, 4 Psychologists, 2 Psychotherapists, and RN/CMA support along with substantial support programs.
- Psycho-Oncology administratively structured within Department of Supportive Oncology that promotes interdisciplinary collaboration with Palliative Medicine, Integrative Oncology, Neuropsychology, Cancer Rehabilitation, Long Term Survivorship and Cancer Nutrition.
- Established integrated services with oncologic teams and steady referral streams.
- Academic (Heme Onc/Palliative Medicine Fellows, Psychiatry residents, and medical student rotations) and research time could be allocated.
- Provide psychiatric consultation and treatment of oncology patients.
Ideal Candidate:
- CL fellowship preferred
- Psycho-oncology experience preferred
- Demonstrates appropriate critical thinking and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a collegial care team
- Comfortable with onsite and virtual environments
