Note: Only considering nearby/local candidatesW2 Candidates only (Visa open)We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Architect to join our team in Chicago, IL. This role requires a highly skilled professional with deep expertise in cloud security, compliance, risk management, and cloud architecture across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with leading cloud security tools and a strong background in designing and implementing secure cloud solutions.Lead the design and architecture of secure cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.Assess and manage cloud security risks, compliance, and governance frameworks.Evaluate, implement, and manage cloud security posture management (CSPM) tools such as Wiz, Aqua Security, SentinelOne, or similar.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security best practices into cloud architectures.Define cloud security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.Provide guidance on cloud security and governance tools to protect enterprise environments.Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability management in cloud environments.Act as a subject matter expert for cloud security, offering leadership on remediation strategies and architecture improvements.Required Qualifications:10+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on cloud environments.Hands-on experience with Wiz, CSPM solutions, Aqua Security, or SentinelOne.Proven expertise in cloud security, compliance, and risk management.Extensive experience architecting secure solutions in AWS, Azure, and GCP.Strong understanding of cloud security and governance tools.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Chicago, IL.Preferred Qualifications:Cloud security certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer.Experience with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipeline security.Soft Skills:Strong leadership and collaboration skills.Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.TopTech Talent is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
