Opportunity Details Psychiatric Institute of Washington (PIW) in Washington, DC is actively seeking a Psychiatrist to join our inpatient services. Position Details As a Weekend/PRN Psychiatrist for Inpatient services, responsibilities include initial evaluations and assessments, as well as daily care of patients in the acute program. Qualifications MD/DO degree from an accredited program required Board certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry required Licensed to practice in Washington DC or the ability to obtain a DC medical license Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians Flexibility to see all ages as well as substance use disorder Compensation Package We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including: Hourly rate or Fee for Service model Malpractice insurance coverage Independent contractor options can be considered if needed/desired.
