*Schedule:*

· Full Time Positions

· Evening*, 3p-3a*

· 36 hours a week (Eligible for Benefits)

· Weekend Requirement: Must self-schedule for 3 out of 8 weekend shifts every 4 weeks. Weekend shift considered Saturday or Sunday.

*Summary:*

· Inpatient Rehab is located on the 4th and 5th floors of Parkview Randallia.

· 50 bed unit that primarily *serves neuro, ortho, trauma, cancer, cardiac, and peds patients* who are in a recovery phase following an acute inpatient stay.

· Patients are typically moderate to higher levels of acuity.

*Job Responsibilities:*

· Responsible for assisting Registered Nurses with care and assessment of all age groups within the Standard of Care set by Parkview Health System and Indiana Nurse Practice Act.

· Works under the direction of a Registered Nurse in accordance with individual patient needs, physician orders, home care and departmental policies.

· Provides hospice/palliative and home care services with respect for human dignity and the uniqueness of the patient, or the nature of the health problems.

· Maintains confidential information regarding patients/caregiver, and all health care team members.

*Required Education:*

· Must be a graduate of practical nursing.

· Must be able to complete Parkview's General, Epic, and Jump Start Orientation and unit specific orientation as provided and required.

*Licensure:*

· Valid Indiana Licensed Practical Nurse license

· Current CPR certification

· Valid state driver's license

· Reliable transportation

· Proof of auto insurance

*Qualifications:*

· Be able to lift 50 pounds, assist with lifting 100 pounds.

· Good verbal and written communication skills

*\*Bonus Details\**

· Must accept a position with a 0.6 FTE or higher.

· Cannot be a Parkview rehire from a bonus-eligible position within the last year.

· Cannot owe a balance on a previously paid Parkview bonus.

· Cannot be a current Parkview employee in a bonus-eligible position (internal RN new grads, ex. PCT transferring to LPN/RN are eligible if requirements above are met as well).
