**Shift:** Night Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years

**License:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

**Must-Have:** Travel experience is a plus

**Job Description:**

- ICU experience is required; CVICU experience is a plus but not necessary.
- The facility is a community hospital and regional referral center, accredited by the Joint Commission, with 171 beds.
- It is a certified Chest Pain Center and a Level III Trauma center.
- The role involves working in a team-oriented environment, handling a patient population that includes adults and geriatrics.
- Candidates may occasionally float to the Intermediate Care Unit and assist in the Emergency Department as needed.
- Common diagnoses and treatments include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, CABG, Valve repair/replacement, Acute Respiratory Failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH Withdrawal, Head Injury, Overdose, Stroke, Trauma, CRRT, TCAR & TVAR.
- Utilize equipment such as Baxter pumps and the Medhost Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- The unit consists of 16 beds with a 1:2 patient ratio.
