Bay Vista Commons Full- Time Housekeeper Position in Bremerton, Washington In response to our common charge of "bridging generations, enriching lives", this job serves and cares for people in need by performing routine cleaning tasks and helping provide emotional support to all residents and their families under our care. Housekeeper Functions: May clean up to 12 rooms per day in facility. Duties include re-arranging furniture, keeping hallways clear, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning microwaves, refrigerators, kitchen areas, resident rooms, changing bed linens, making beds and cleaning bathrooms. Will also empty trash and restock supplies. Supports Organizational Values: Dependable - reports for work on time, performs work conscientiously and is willing to follow instructions. Code of Conduct - adheres to Martha & Mary Principles and Standards of Conduct as detailed in the Employee Handbook regarding Confidentiality, Communicating Vital Information, Documentation, Information Systems, Rumors and Gossip, Tips and Gratuities, Compliance with Laws, Weapons, and Ethical Conduct, No Triangulation Learning - Attends all mandatory in-services, continually increases professional knowledge Maintaining perspective and a sense of humor, responding positively to rapidly changing demands Handle people and situations with understanding, diplomacy and tact Work cooperatively in a team environment Problem solve and be able to handle unexpected/unpredictable circumstances Work positively to find solutions to the problems that are identified within the organization Wage : $17.74/hr. up to $20.07/hr. depending on relatable experience as determined by hiring manager. Paid Time Off (PTO) is accrued at varying rates depending on length of employment. Accrual rates begin at 5.32 hours per month based on a 40-hour workweek. These accruals include the required sick leave per Washington State's Paid Sick Leave Law 40% discount on child care services while working Comprehensive benefit package after 60 days to include medical, dental, vision and life insurance options.
