The posted range is only one component of Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP’s Total Rewards package.-------------JOB SUMMARY:Appellate Project Manager Staff Attorney (“APM”) has substantial experience in all aspects of appellate filings, procedure, and protocols. The APM provides case management for pending appellate matters and may have supervisory duties relating to other staff providing appellate support projects. The APM will typically perform billable tasks associated with case organization, preparation for appeal, and appellate oral arguments. They will provide substantive attorney case support to the firm’s appellate matters. This person has substantial experience in all aspects of appellate cases, filings, procedure, and protocols. In that regard, they are the go-to support attorney at the firm for all things appellate, which may include mentorship, instruction, and leadership of other staff participating in appellate support projects. Development, monitoring, and other case management for pending appellate matters will be expected.APM Staff Attorneys work closely with clients, firm attorneys, other Staff Attorneys, legal specialists, paralegals, litigation interns, case clerks, and vendors to service the cases and projects to which they are assigned. Substantial experience in all aspects of appellate practice emphasizing procedure and protocols.6. Knowledge of best appellate practices.7. Ability to articulate case (project) goals, objectives, deliverables, costs, and deadlines; identify tasks; manage resources and schedule needed to achieve objectives.8. Fluency in the technical language of desktop and enterprise business information systems.9. Fluency in the technical language of Federal and State court rules and laws.10. Strong organizational, reasoning, and research skills; creativity; strong written and verbal communication abilities; good judgment; attention to detail; and initiative.11.
