OverviewIDL Education & Outreach Specialist job at University of California, San Francisco. San Francisco, CA.As the UCSF Industry Documents Library Education & Outreach Specialist, you will coordinate efforts to promote and deliver the Industry Documents Library's collections, programs, and research and education services to a wide audience of scholars, scientists, historians, journalists, public health experts, and community health advocates. You will help to create educational and reference resources including subject guides, video tutorials, and interactive workshops, and will promote these materials through blog posts, newsletter articles, and other outreach channels to increase engagement with IDL's research community. You will be supervised by the Director of the Industry Documents Library, in close collaboration with the Associate University Librarian for Collections / University Archivist, and work with the Industry Documents Library (IDL) team within the Archives & Special Collections (ASC) unit. This is a half-time, limited-term position. The final salary and offer components are subject to UC policy, and placement within the salary range depends on factors including experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the collective bargaining agreement.
