Our engaging environment is designed to help you gain your full potential.Job OverviewThe Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for protecting the company's systems and data by designing, implementing, and maintaining cybersecurity measures. This role involves hands-on cybersecurity engineering as well as participation in compliance and auditing tasks, with a primary focus on SOC and PCI standards.This is a hybrid position with in-office work 2-3 days a week in our Chicago Headquarters.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain cybersecurity measures to ensure the secure operation of the company's systems and data.Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments, providing actionable recommendations to mitigate identified risks.Oversee compliance with PCI DSS and SOC 2/3 privacy standards.Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders on the development and enforcement of security standards and best practices.Actively participate in incident response procedures, including the investigation of security breaches, identifying vulnerabilities, and ensuring they are adequately addressed.Assist with responses to audit and diligence requests from the company's partners and clients.Stay informed on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends, educating internal stakeholders on changes that may warrant updates in security procedures.Contribute to the development and updating of enterprise information security policies and standards.Assist with security-related documentation and reporting as needed.RequirementsMinimum 2 years experience as DevOps, System Administrator, or Network EngineerHands-on experience with PCI-DSS and SOC 2/3 or similar control frameworkExperience in LinuxExperience in security incident response and managementProficiency in information security technologies, networks, and operating systemsUnderstanding of privacy and security issues in data-driven environmentsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and documentation skillsProactive and collaborative team player in a fast-paced environmentExperience with cloud-based systems and technologiesBachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience; Master’s degree a plus4+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering and IT audit/compliance (preferred)What you’ll love about usBenefitsFull-time exempt position; base compensation for this opening in Chicago is expected to be $140,000-$155,000 annually, with a quarterly bonus bringing total target comp to $154,000-$170,500Generous dining reimbursement when dining with restaurant customersSales Academy: In-depth trainingCompetitive time off benefits, including flexible PTO, 11 company holidays, and parental leave401(k) plan with company matchTwo medical plan options: Standard PPO or HDHP (with HSA company match)Rx n Go pharmacy partnership for select prescriptionsTwo dental options and vision planFlexible Spending Accounts and pre-tax commuter benefitsInsurance: accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity; short/long-term disability; company-paid life and AD&D; supplemental life optionsEmployee Life Assistance ProgramEEO Statement Rewards Network is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
