Summary:

Do you have experience with CNC programming? A well-known manufacturer in the Dodge County area is looking to add a 1st shift CNC Programmer to their team The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience of CNC programming and set up.

  • Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00am -2:30 pm
  • Pay: $20.00-25.00/hr depending on expereince
Responsibilities:
  • Develop programs using SolidWorks and CAD to control vertical machining centers and turning centers
  • Create layouts for signs and parts using SolidWorks and CAD software
  • Be able to identify tooling required to cut materials and create part(s)
  • Interpret blueprints to create programs for CNC machines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machine accordingly
  • Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize productions while maintain quality
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in SolidWorks and CAD
  • Ability to interpret blueprints to create programs
  • Apply geometrical tolerances and be proficient with complicated blueprint interpretations.
  • Perform standard machining calculations, angles, radius, arcs, speed, feed, etc.
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills.
