**Aerotek is hiring Structural Fitters/Fabricators in the Powhatan, VA area**

**Job Description**

Join our dynamic team as a Fitter/Fabricator, where you will assist main welders in daily operations. Your responsibilities include steel fabricating and fitting, cutting, shaping, and assembling structural steel components, as well as aligning and fitting steel. Occasionally, you will assist with minor MIG welding and other tasks around the facility. The ability to read and interpret blueprints is crucial for success in this role.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

**Work Site**

This is a fully on-site position in Powhatan, Virginia.

**Work Environment**

This position operates in both indoor and outdoor settings, adapting to varying climate conditions. The work environment is heavy industrial and may be dirty. Despite the physical demands, the team maintains a laid-back atmosphere with a strong focus on productivity. Work hours are flexible with a core day shift from Monday to Friday, and occasional weekend work.

**Pay** : $23-30/hr.

**Hours** : 6a-5pm
