This position will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing field marketing campaigns to build relationships, drive awareness, and generate business opportunities. Working closely with Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, and Operations teams, you will represent our brand at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to connect with potential customers. Travel is required for this positionWhat you'll doPlan, execute, and attend industry conferences, trade shows, and webinars to generate leads and new business.Travel to each event from start to finishServe as the main point of contact at trade shows, overseeing all required onsite setup and logistics.Produce marketing materials, including literature, signage, and merchandise, and manage the inventory of reusable trade show items.Maintain relationships with third-party vendors and venues; manage negotiations and track event expenses.Build relationships with potential and existing customers through meetings, demos, and workshops at events.Partner with the Executive Assistant to coordinate speaking engagements and customer meetings.Track and analyze field marketing activities, measuring ROI, and reporting weekly on event performance.Manage social media around field marketing activities, including trade shows and events. Monitor industry trends and competitor activitiesCollaborate with the VP of Partnerships to expand market reach through partner-sponsored events.Work closely with internal teams such as Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Operations to ensure successful events.Document and share customer insights and lead information with internal teams, handling data entry into Salesforce.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of related experience in field marketing.Proven experience planning and managing field marketing events, conferences, and trade shows.Prefer someone who has worked in the Tech/SaaS spaceAbility to manage multiple projects, vendors, and logistics while maintaining attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally.Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.Ability to collaborate across departments and effectively communicate with team members.Technical aptitude with the ability to translate complex concepts for event audiences.At Shipium, Employees enjoy full medical, dental & vision coverage (with 50% coverage for dependents), optional life insurance and long-term disability coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, fully remote work-from-home options in 25* states, 8 paid weeks of parental leave, 12 paid holidays annually, self-managed vacation time, sick & safety leave, and volunteer time off.Shipium is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
