Consult with the Medical Director or other medical providers when necessary. Administer medication reviews; document findings and immediately provide documentation to the site contact person. Provide services in accordance with LifeSource site‑specific protocols. Upload documentation and billing records at end of each day to the LifeSource EMR and perform other required end‑of‑day tasks. Maintain open and positive communication with contract site staff, ordering physicians, and other authorized parties. Provide verbal or written instruction or feedback regarding medications and other caregiver information. Adhere to LifeSource standards, policies, procedures, legal, regulatory, and ethical guidelines. Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times. Perform other duties and activities as appropriate and/or assigned by LifeSource Management. Attend ongoing training to support certifications and licensures. Maintain patient confidentiality. Education and Experience Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution and a current, valid license to practice in North Carolina. Active Federal DEA license or ability to obtain one. Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, and regulations. Knowledge of governing health‑care bodies’ rules and regulations. Knowledge of organization policies and procedures. Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions. Skills Required Gathering and analyzing physiological, socioeconomic, and emotional patient data. Accurately evaluating patient problems and providing appropriate advice, intervention or referral. Documenting clinical services. Exercising initiative, judgment, and discretion. Abilities Communicate clearly and establish effective working relationships with patients, staff, and the public. React calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures. Work collaboratively with all members of the health‑care team. Make responsible decisions within the scope of a dependent medical practitioner. Evaluate and recommend continuous quality improvement. Handle confidential and sensitive information. Physical and Mental Demands Requires walking, sitting, and standing associated with a normal office environment. Lifting and carrying. Working under stress.
