Ultrasound Tech PRN PositionJob Summary: Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data Schedules and coordinates tests, records test results, and prepares and maintains operational logs Calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies when needed Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Performs a variety of tasks Works under general supervision A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required Must be willing to take call after hours, Holiday and weekends Qualifications: Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager Requires a two-year allied health degree and successful completion of an approved one-year program in Ultrasound Technology 2+ years of experience in the field with exams including but not limited to US ABD, US OBGYN, US ARTERIAL & VASCULAR, US PYLORUS Requires registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
