Amee Bay, LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking an experienced Naval Marine Shipboard Electrician to join our team in San Diego, CA.Position Overview1st Class electricians test, manufacture, troubleshoot, repair, red‑line drawings and make design recommendations for electrical and electronic equipment. The employee will perform a wide variety of different tasks depending on the needs of the company.Position ResponsibilitiesKnowledge of navy AC (60 and 400 Hz) and DC electrical systemsNavy tag‑out, WAF programs and applicable Naval procedures / instructionsMaintain QWI and associated formsImplements and monitor OSHA safetyDemonstrate the ability to supervise junior personnelKnowledge of Navy electrical and electronic systemsAble to troubleshoot, disassemble, and inspect electrical equipmentAble to clean electrical equipment and parts, reassemble, and operationally test equipment.Knowledge of electrical systems such as switchboards, switchgear, distribution panels, controls, etc.Versed in the use of common electrical measuring instruments, and various electronic measuring devices, such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, power analyzers and megohmmeters.Familiar with the use of Precision Measuring InstrumentationAbility to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, written technical instructions and manuals.Ability to plan and make working diagrams and circuits.Capable of cable run fabrication and wire way fabricationWorking knowledge of trade mathematics and formulas to calculate voltage, amperes and resistance requirements and to determine size and types of material such as controls, switches, distribution panels, fuses, etc.Position RequirementsUS CitizenshipMust be able to obtain/maintain security and base access clearance. Active clearance is preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalentNavy 'A' / 'C' school(s) or completion of a vocational, maritime, or journeyman training program.Minimum eight (8) years' experience.Must have a valid U.S. Driver's LicenseMust pass drug screening.Benefits & Additional InformationThis position is located in San Diego, CA.
