Role- Technical Business Analyst
Location- Jersey City, NJ
Our challenge
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst having knowledge on Capital Markets to join our team. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Job Responsibilities:
- Business requirements analysis and translation into appropriate technology system change requirements, specifically with Market Risk and FO Trade capture processing.
- Close tracking of technology deliverables against the roadmap and communicate status to stakeholders.
- Manage, communicate and mitigate risks and issues.
- Drive business priorities with partner teams.
- Ensure final product meets high quality standards. Promote continuous improvement in test coverage using the right tools working with Dev and QA teams.
- Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements and to ensure all requirements are covered in the test plan.
- Maintain Key Relationships with below stakeholders.
- Global Markets Finance Desk business
- Stakeholders in Support and Control functions – Quants, Middle Office, Operations, Risk, Financial Control, Data Management
- Internal and other partner Technology teams in Risk, Trade Processing, Reference Data, Market Data, Platform teams etc
Skills and Experience:
- Relevant Experience with Front Office Business Analysis.
- Understanding of Fixed Income products Lifecycle and Markets.
- Strong understanding of Repo Trading, Stock Record and Inventory Projections.
- Understanding of E-Trading Markets is good to have.
- Experience of defining, documenting business strategies/requirements
- Very good relational Databases and SQL skills.
- Knowledge of Linux Shell scripting to investigate Data flows.
- Adequate knowledge of Cloud Computing Concepts.
- Adequate knowledge of JAVA programming to work on Business and DevOps Projects.
- Basic understanding of Cache processing and Distributed Computing.
- Basic knowledge of TeamCity, Sonar Cube, BitBucket and Udeploy.
