As an NDT Quality Inspector at Trinity, you'll make visual and measured inspection/tests of materials/ products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements. Complete inspection records and reports and follow appropriate codes and regulations. What you'll do: Makes visual and measured inspection of products the majority of the time to ensure conformance with standards and determines if product meets all requirements May inspect incoming materials, outgoing materials, or products or assemblies throughout the manufacturing process May apply singular or multiple inspection processes using various appropriate NDE methods Able to maintain, adjust or calibrate inspection equipment Completes inspection records and reports Familiar with appropriate codes, regulations, applicable procedures & standards Follows all safety rules and practices May be involved in safety committees or CI initiatives Performs other duties as assigned For new hires previous work experience and/or certifications may be considered for the corresponding job level position Basic knowledge of inspection tools and measuring equipment Basic knowledge of operational function to be inspected Ability to achieve appropriate NDE certifications within 6 months Proficient in the use of inspection tolls and measuring equipment Understands and applies quality science and tools Certified to conduct and approve 2 or more NDE method (such as bubble leak, dye penetrant, ultrasound) May work under supervision of Level II or Level III Certified NDT inspector Qualifications What you'll need: Typically has 1-2 years of related experience. Safely and efficiently performs all essential functions of the job.
