Director of Manufacturing Operations

QLM Search are partnering with a privately owned & high growth CPG manufacturer, to recruit for a Director of Operations who will lead manufacturing, warehousing and planning.


Reporting to the COO you will be part of the senior leadership team, driving best in class operational performance as this business embarks on a new phase of expansion and growth within an exceptionally strong CPG category.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Leading and developing a team of Managers responsible for manufacturing, engineering, demand planning and supply chain activities.
  • Full responsibility for the supply chain, with particular emphasis on the strategic and operational management of manufacturing
  • Driving the simplification of production processes through standardization, technology and innovation, and the implementation of Lean methodology
  • Building integrated processes in supply chain by working with all functions and tracking performance through effective KPIs, budgeting and forecasting


This Director of Manufacturing Operations position will be matched to those with Senior Operations Leadership experience which has been gained within food, beverages, packaging and other CPG categories.


This position will align to candidates with strong hands-on plant experience and the ability to lead and motivate a large team combined with a strategic approach to implementing innovation to drive operating performance and lean processes.
