Production Equipment Technician Apprentice The production equipment technician apprentice responsible for routine maintenance of our embroidery machines, heat seal presses, digital printers and laser machines. Schedule Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Overtime (Saturday 7am noon) as needed Essential Duties and Responsibilities Repair of Cap Frames & other machine attachments. Cleaning, lubrication and minor repairs of embroidery machines PM on all machinery Daily record keeping of machine tasks performed Additional duties as assigned. Skills/Qualifications Ability to follow verbal directions. Ability to read instructions in English. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to perform troubleshooting/problem solving tasks Ability to work with tools and machinery. Skill set to learn how to troubleshoot and repair all equipment. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Supervisory Responsibilities None Physical Demands Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive use of hands, fingers and arms. Ability to demonstrate fine dexterity skills. Ability to move about the facility. Ability to climb, bend, reach, kneel and crouch. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed. Vision Requirements Close and distance vision. Vision to be able to thread a needle. Color vision.
