Join to apply for the Radiologic Technologist role at RAYUS Radiology. Pay range: $25 - $37 based on direct and relevant experience. Location: Portland, OR. This is a temporary/PRN position with shifts from 10:00 am – 6:30 pm. Responsibilities Patient Radiologic Imaging (90%) Screen patients before exam for any precautions or contradictions, using two identifiers. Explain and prepare patients for imaging procedures, positioning them appropriately. Perform routine and advanced imaging on designated body parts, providing patient support throughout. Adjust scan parameters correctly and use dose reduction techniques as needed. Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and peers. Follow physicians’ orders, ensuring safety regulations to protect yourself, patients, and coworkers. Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS). Maintain an orderly, clean work area promoting safety. Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements. Maintain equipment; clean and disinfect after use. Ensure HIPAA compliance. Work with a Fluoroscopy C‑Arm in surgical and outpatient procedures. Radiologic Department Support (5%) Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades. Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as needed. Assist with training new associates and provide technical expertise. Completes other tasks as assigned (5%).
