Location: Southern United States Mission We are looking for experienced pre‑sales professionals who have a successful track record helping large enterprises become more data‑driven. Working with the Enterprise Account Executive (AE) and the Enterprise Solutions Architect, the candidate defines and directs the technical strategy for our largest and most important accounts, driving widespread use of our products and deeper adoption of ML & AI. You will lean on your background in value selling, technical account management, and technical leadership to maximize success in these accounts. Outcomes Serve as the main technical voice for Databricks to multiple clients. Lead customers on a transformational journey, helping them evaluate and adopt Databricks as part of their strategy. Implement the technical strategy within the account, staying aligned with the overall plan. Build a movement of technical champions within the account. Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions. Provide structured mentorship for other team members. Gain the respect of peers based on experience, insight, and contributions. Competencies Proficiency at establishing virtual teams and leading them to success within the account. Experience working on very large (> $1 million ARR) global accounts. Form relationships with executives and influencers. Present a convincing point of view to decision‑makers that leads them down a path of success. Technical competency in big data, data science, and cloud. Ability to drive data‑driven business transformation. Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala, or Java. Nice to have: Databricks certification. Pay Range Transparency Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay ranges below represent the expected salary for non‑commissionable roles or on‑target earnings for commissionable roles. Compensation packages are based on factors such as skills, experience, and location.
