Assistant Clinical Director (RN Hospice) This role is a leadership position responsible for the implementation, delivery, coordination and clinical and administrative supervision of hospice services delivered by regional teams. Responsibilities Lead regional Interdisciplinary Teams (IDT) and participate in regular IDT meetings. Review and revise patient/family care plans. Address delivery problems, identify staff development needs, and suggest policy changes. Supervise accurate medical record maintenance and conduct compliance audits. Collect and review clinical data at team meetings and monitorT care plan completion. Submit plans of correction to Administrator and Clinical Director when required. Document all team member performance and counsel when records do not meet company standards. Conduct supervisory visits to observe all team member performance. Maintain accounts, develop relationships, and provide education. Provide required in‑service numbers to contracted facilities and support documentation. Arrange team coverage for on‑call and staff time off. Provide leadership and counsel to regional personnel for staff development. Meet budgeted average daily census and admissions goals. Meet referral conversion goals set by the State Administrator. Engage with regional community education liaisons regarding business development and support regional growth. Education Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Professional Experience State Certified RN license. 5+ years as a professional nurse, hospice experience strongly preferred. CHPN certification a plus. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Willingness to travel. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
