Mental Health Professional – Media

We’re currently seeking Mental Health Professionals for full-time positions working with adults with IDDs in the Media, PA area. There are several shifts available. Candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in behavioral health/psychology/human services or a related field OR a bachelor’s degree in another field PLUS 2 years of behavioral health experience (and 12+ credit hours in behavioral health – this is required if bachelor’s is in other field). Eligible candidates must also have updated PA Clearances, a valid driver’s license, and 3+ years of driving experience.

Qualifications
Must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in behavioral health/psychology/human services or related field.
OR a bachelor’s degree in another field AND 2 years of behavioral health experience (and 12+ credit hours in behavioral health – required.)
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must have 3+ years of driving experience
Must have up-to-date PA Clearances
Responsibilities
Developing, implementing, and documenting individual programs for all residents.
Act as an advocate and represent client’s needs and rights with outside social service agencies, families, etc.
Assist residents in all activities of daily living.
Design and facilitate therapeutic groups in accordance with psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery principles.
Plan and implement community integration plans.
Conduct intakes, assessments, treatment planning, coordination of community care linkages, and discharge process.
Adhere to standards, procedures, and schedules established by Program Supervisor.
