With comprehensive knowledge of radiographic equipment and digital imaging technologies, they proficiently perform standardized radiological procedures, apply radiation safety principles, and produce high-quality diagnostic images. They are capable of operating and maintaining diagnostic equipment, managing digital imaging systems, and using office tools efficiently. The ideal candidate is physically capable of lifting and moving equipment and patients, responds promptly to emergencies, handles sensitive patient information with discretion, and maintains a safe and organized work environment.Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a "vision of excellence."Education and Experience• Minimum of five years post-graduate experience in the practice of diagnostic radiography preferred.• Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.Physical SummaryHeavy work - Job involves lifting more than 40 pounds. Approximately half of the incumbent's time will be spent walking, standing, squatting, kneeling, or climbing.Licenses / CertificatesCurrent Certificate of Radiologic Technology as a certified radiologic technologist issued by the Radiologic Health Branch of California Department of Health Services.DivisionCompensationThe salary range for this classification is $31.16 to $60.12 per hour.Time BaseHourly/intermittent on call temporary position. Successful candidates may be appointed for a few days and up to one (1) year depending on the assignment.
