Our structures are installed throughout the United States and abroad. We believe that it's time for the construction industry to change. By completing up to 90% of our buildings at our factory, we are taking workers out of the job site and into streamlined manufacturing facilities.Position OverviewThe Sr. Project Director will lead the project management and production functions of our modular shipping container construction division. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless coordination between project execution, production, and client requirements. The Sr. Project Director will play a key role in driving efficiency, quality, and profitability while maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.Knowledge and ExpertiseLeadership & team developmentStrategic and analytical thinkingStrong organizational and planning abilitiesCustomer and results-oriented mindsetAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environmentResponsibilitiesOperations Leadership: Oversee all aspects of modular container construction projects from inception through completion; Lead production activities, including scheduling, workflow management, quality control, and safety compliance; Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize output; Work with CFO and CEO to develop and manage P&L for divisionProject Management: Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery; Manage & execute change orders and project documentationTeam Management: Supervise and mentor production leaders and support staff; Work with Engineering and Procurement centralized teams (based in our South Carolina Headquarters) to support all projects; Foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture with a focus on continuous improvement; Ensure workforce training, development, and compliance with company policies and safety standardsCustomer & Stakeholder Relations: Act as a key liaison with clients and other departments, ensuring project requirements are understood and metProcess & Performance Improvement: Develop and monitor KPIs to track production efficiency, project success, and customer satisfaction; Identify bottlenecks and implement lean practices to improve entire project lifecycle; Support innovation and adoption of new technologies in modular container constructionRequirementsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)7+ years of experience in modular construction, container fabrication, prefabrication, or related industry, with at least 3 years in a management roleStrong knowledge of modular/container-based construction methods, codes, and production processesProven experience in project management, operations oversight, and production schedulingProficiency in project management and familiarity with ERP/MRP software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, SAP, or similar)Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsStrong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and cost controlsBenefitsMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceFlexible PTOSeniority levelDirectorEmployment typeFull-time #J-18808-Ljbffr
