We are searching for a talented Medical Social Worker (LCSW/LICSW)

* $3,000 New Hire Sign-On Bonus with independent licensure LICSW at time of hire (Rehires Termed More than 1 year also eligible)

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Day Shift 8:00am-4:30pm. Every 5th weekend, holiday rotation

Location: St. Luke's Hospital- New Bedford, MA

Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Executive Director of Behavioral Health Services performs a wide variety of duties in Southcoast Physician Practices providing behavioral health services to Southcoast Health PCP patients across the system. Duties include conducting behavioral health assessments and providing behavioral health treatment including individual and family psychotherapy utilizing brief treatment modalities. Serves as a consultant and resource to practice staff in the management and treatment of behavioral health disorders.

Qualifications

* A Masters Degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university.
* Current Massachusetts Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Work (LICSW) is required.
* Demonstrated ability to perform as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Experience with electronic medical record documentation preferred.
* Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Pay Range

USD $59,800.00 - USD $102,440.00 /Yr.

Rotation Schedule Requirement

Every 5th Weekend, holiday rotation
