About the Position
TotalMed Staffing is looking for a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will assess and treat patients with breathing disorders, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with respiratory conditions.
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and other respiratory treatments as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and respond to changes in their condition.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory health and disease management.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- CRT and RRT certifications.
- BLS certification (ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required).
- Two years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
